For a hassle-free bike riding experience and security against unforeseen incidents, Two-Wheeler Insurance should be taken by all of us. As per Motor Vehicles Act in India, it’s compulsory to have third party insurance for your vehicle. However, it’s always recommended to opt for a comprehensive two-wheeler insurance for securing your bike totally against accidents, damages, theft, total damage and personal accident.
Liability Only Insurance
Under this policy your liabilities towards third parties for injuries, permanent total disability, death and property damage arising due to any accident involving your vehicle gets covered.
  • Two-Wheeler Liability Only Insurance provides compulsory Personal Accident cover of Rs. 1 lac on two-wheelers in case of accident, death and personal total disability to the owner-driver.
  • Add-on : Zero Depreciation Claim
Provide benefits against depreciation on parts at the time of a partial loss claim.
Comprehensive Two-wheeler Insurance
Third party liability is a motor insurance policy that doesn’t cover your vehicle against any accidental damage or theft. In case you already hold a third party liability policy, then it’s always recommended to opt for a comprehensive policy.
  • TOwn Damage Cover : This cover insures any financial loss arising due to damage or theft of the insured vehicle. The major scenarios are either Loss / damage due to theft of insured vehicle or Loss / damage of the insured vehicle in case of accident or Loss / damage of the insured vehicle due to natural disaster
  • Third Party Cover : This cover insures any financial loss arising due to damage or theft of the insured vehicle.

      2. Emergency Assistance Service Program

Coverage:
  • Own damage to the vehicle caused due to a) Accident by external means b) Burglary, housebreaking or theft c) Fire, explosion, self-ignition, lighting d) Terrorism, riots, strike or malicious act e)Transit by road, rail, inland waterway, lift f) Earthquake, flood, storm, landslide, rockslide.
  • Personal Accident Cover: It covers costs incurred during medical treatment of the driver. However, you can choose to cover the occupants by paying additional premium
  • Third Party Legal Liability
    • Accidental death or injury to any third party
    • Any damage to property owned by third party
Add ons:
  • Nil/Zero Deprecation: This cover offers full claim without any deduction for depreciation on the value of parts replaced. The cover operates for maximum 2 claims during the policy period.
  • Engine Secure: This Cover pays for repair and replacement expenses or damage to ‐ Internal parts of the engine, Gear Box, Transmission or Differential Assembly. Provided loss or damage is due to ingress of water in the engine or leakage of lubricating oil from engine / respective assembly.
  • Return to Invoice: This cover pays the difference between the “Insured Declared Value – IDV” under the policy and the ‘purchase price of vehicle’ as per invoice in case the vehicle is declared a Total Loss or a Constructive Total Loss.
  • Key Replacement: This Cover cost to replace your car keys and locks or charges in case of keys are lost or stolen.
  • Personal Accident Cover: It covers costs incurred during medical treatment of the driver. However, you can choose to cover the occupants by paying additional premium
  • Consumable Expenses: We will cover cost of consumables required to be replaced/replenished arising from an accident to the insured vehicle. Consumable for the purpose of this cover shall include engine oil, gear box oil, lubricants, nut & bolt, screw, distilled water, grease, oil filter, bearings, washers, clip, break oil, air conditioner gas and items of similar nature excluding fuel.
  • Tyre Cover: Expenses for repair and / or replacement will be covered, as may be necessitated arising out of accidental loss or damage to tyres and tubes.
